Hi,
On October I won a pre-release auction for an expired domain. NameJet took the money from my CC but they never gave me the name and I have been refunded 2 weeks after (end of october). It seems that owner of the name transferred the name from current registrar (where it was expiring) to eNom during the auction. But while new registrar was eNom, they didn't managed to get the name for me (as you know, NameJet and eNom are both from the same company).
Well so auction took place, I won, I paid, but I didn't get the name and NameJet refunded me..
Ok in my opinion that was unfair but let's move on..
Problem is that about 1 month ago (so 1 month after my refund), in november, I've received an email saying that the name I was looking for was in pre-release again !
But hey WTF? Seriously ? Current owner decided to send the name again to NameJet so I should get it since auction already took place few weeks ago !
But no.. namejet don't want to award me the name. Here is what they told me :
Oh.. what ? So according to the Support Team, NameJet managed to get the name again for an auction because there were people with a backorder for the name ? But.. why are they launching auction again ? And this way there will be more bidders than the first time because some people will see a domain which is going to pre-release with already some bidders so they will enter the auction too..
And also please note that whois for this name changed fews days before pre-release from Registrant "real" information to .. "Whois Privacy Protection Service" which is eNom's private whois service but also the service used by eNom for their portofolio.
So my question is : did it already happened to you? Should I get the name at the price I won it in october?
Thanks (and sorry for my bad english :p )
Regards.

Thank you for contacting NameJet support. This domain was pulled from the previous auction, because the current registrar at the time, <registrar>.com, cancelled the auction for this domain. Because of this, the auction at the time, must be cancelled per our agreement with the registrar of record. However, since this domain was still in the backorder list of many other individuals, we continued to attempt to acquire this domain name for auction.
Should the domain be made available, you should be able to bid on it again.
