Domain value of LLL.org

How much would a good LLL.Org be worth? i.e. abc.org or rap.org map.org names like that. Offhand, i think they have a lot of value , but i could be mistaken.

Yes they are worth a lot - the only three letter .org words that I've seen sell recently were hug.org ($3333) and leg.org ($2052) but something like map.org would obvuisly be worth a lot more..

Just remember that SN prices tend to be above wholesale value. In other words, LLL.org domains on the private market may be less expensive than they would be if auctioned off at SN.

Well there is a reason for that. A very good one too. Big domainers won't buy a LLL domain on a marketplace because:

1) They know you've had it for a long time and had no end-users, that's why it is listed at wholesale price.

2) They know that there probably won't be any end-users otherwise the domain wouldn't be in the marketplace.


But when a domain is caught from SnapNames or Pool, they think that it could be worht more because:

1) The person that dropped it might have forgotten to renew and will buy it back for bigger money.

2) It has the possibility to be sold to an end-user.
