Hi everyone-im fairly new to domaining, and i recently dumped Sedo parking after using them exclusively for over 100 of my parked domains. I loved the format at Why Park, and moved there.
Ive actually never heard of Domain Embarking, and im interested in any feedback comparing the two or speaking about what you like in particular about their services compared to other options.
A few other questions....
The first is a two parter, so here's the back story:
Ive got a list of very quality .info domain names I may register with GoDaddy...and with the current "less than a dollar" promo, I assume a quality name + a little SEO (even for a rookie) + a WhyPark mini-site with fresh content would provide an excellent ROI over the course of a year, especially in quantity. Im not planning to recreate entirely new content for 500 sites, but rather customize the home page and then use the WP articles for the rest. For some of the best .info names, Ill likely focus more time and energy. So...what are your opinions on .info domains relative to the 10% cost of .com or .net TLD? And, is their a better resource than WhyPark for what Ive planned?
Lastly, Im marketing some of my .infos now on the cheap to gear up for my end of year domain spending spree-trying not to get attached to anything and just focus on ROI...before my wife strangles me
Is there a good resource for either selling domains (of any variety) very quickly? But most importantly, is there any forums that specialize in the .info domains?
One other thing just came to mind: is there a decent online pricing tool? Estibot.com is free and is better than nothing, but here's an example: I own www.DenverResorts.info, which is decent domain with some potential, maybe $40-50 to the right buyer.....but Estibot.com came up with $3700. JacksonvilleResorts.info was $700 Estibot if I remember. Im wondering how to pre-value domain names before purchase w/o buying a $30 appraisal, or how to find a good way to value them prior to auction. Anyway, thank you all and Happy Holidays.
