Domain names because you just want to keep them

How many of you have domain names that you just keep because you just want to keep it or for potential future development? If so, how many?

For me, this list is starting to get bigger and bigger and am just feeling like I am dumping money into nothing as I am not actively developing as much anymore.

Just curious.

Let's see
a few domains used for email: (personal/"professional"/registrations/spam domain changed every year)
1 personal website
one domain when I share images or files
one free with hosting (will drop next year)
and... yeah, I think that would be it

You can put them on auctions, if you do not have much time to develop

I call these my pet domains.
Like pets, they are fun to have around, and if kept under control, inexpensive.
Also like pets, if you have too many they will start to cost you. You could be like this woman (swap "domains" for "cats")

Never get your pet domains mixed up with business domains.

I've had lists like this before, and never managed to get around to lots of the domains. If you have a domain that you are thinking of developing in the future, it's better to get that out of the way now as opposed to later. Otherwise it will likely never get done! At least, that's what it's like in my case lol
