The domain industry is heading for the next BOOM! Visual parking is going to covert traffic from domains and dnjournal is going to hit record level sales in the next 5 years. Look at this image on visualdomains.com imagine the visual landing page POPPING OUT with 24/7 sales person showing why this domain is so valuable. Rick Schwartz is going to be speechless, watch him say this is the final piece of the puzzle. When do you think domain parking companies will change to visual parking?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I don't understand what is so amazing about that.

looks cool Iron-Man! how have you been? all is well?

I can see since the whole shift in Google advertising in Adsense these day where they completely eliminated on Google the right column where we use to be able to bid for spot ads on first page or second page.

They say Google advises businesses to create video advertising content now and that's the NEW GAME in advertising. Like instead of an adsense ad we're going to see Video Ads on Google.

I guess they believed people were "gaming" the system too much.

But I guess you don't have to stay with Google as there is Bing and Yahoo search(oath) with no such rules.

@Avtar629 I'm good thanks. :) Enjoy life!

Search engines destroyed most domain parking revenue years ago. This is why Visual parking/Visual SEO is going to change the industry again. Visual parking pages will pop out and catch your eye. Parking pages now are boring like watching paint dry. Visual parking would be like love at first sight.

I'm talking about VR/AR/MR visual pages. Once iphone AR comes out this will start to change the market. Lot's of compaines will make great commission and I'm sure Visual domain parking pages will come into this industry. The first domain parking company to do this will make millions.

Wash.Pet ( I actually own this) how exactly would Visual Domain Parking Pages work on my domain?

Dirty pets would pop out of your VR/AR/MR device. Pet shampoo brands would pop out and start to wash your selected pet! After your pet would look fresh and clean. Wow that looks great, i'm going to buy it. :)

I get it and this would totally change the industry if anything, the catchy visual landing page would really help facilitate sales.
Just waiting for the first guys who will launch this.

Thanks! It's good to be open-minded. I think Afternic will be the first company to make Visual landing pages. The first company to do this will
destroy all the other domain parking companies.

I don't see this helping at all. This might be great for web design companies but won't have any impact on the domain industry. More realistic asking prices is what will help increase sales in the the domain industry not silly gimmicks.

Come on, we all loved flash websites, right?

Is it me or do others think that for a service touting visual design is going to be the next big thing has a highly sub-optimal website with a terrible design?

You can't compare flash to AR/VR/MR
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/applei...ife-plans-will-stop-distribution-in-2020/amp/

Advertising industry has always jumped on new technology very quickly, as new tech comes with new ways to reach new audiences. AR/VR/MR is no different, and advertisers are figuring out ways to create unique, immersive and engaging campaigns, and more importantly, getting them in front of users. This is going to change the way you can market products, as it will allow companies to project images of their products in front of people, showing them how these things would look in the real world. For Visual domain parking pages this will be outstanding, as their audience can see how the product can look. This will help covert targeted traffic on domains.

So the so called Visual domain landing page and parking only work, if the device is support it, otherwise is not going to popup or anything.

I still don't see it.

For domainers, this does not impact "Landing pages". There are no ads on landing pages, only infos to sell the domain.

You seem to be referring to Parked pages but people usually use Google search and don't type in the URL. So parked pages don't get as much traffic. So having plain text ads or more visual ads does not change much IMO.

we have received feedback from members that they like the simple offer forms. strait and to the point with few distractions from the conversion goal of making the offer. alternatively simple parking page that just offers links to advertisers and nothing else... others however do prefer more supporting data to sell the name....there will always be a divide....

I disagree. Even with top notch domains the vast majority of end users don't understand how upgrading their domain can help their bottom line. The vast majority are stuck in the $10 hand reg mindset. That's what a domain should cost so why should I pay you 4-7 figures for a name that cost you $10 to reg. They know nothing about drop catching auctions and the aftermarket.

Landing pages with generic sound bytes with no tangible data do little to educate potential buyers and parked PPC pages do nothing whatsoever.

I agree with the OP, it strikes me as a golden opportunity to educate potential buyers, but each domain is different and may add value to a business for a wide range of reasons. Tailoring each domain would be very tricky and part of that would be the responsibility of the domain owner. Otherwise we're just back to sound bytes.

The problem in this industry and the biggest hurdle to making end user sales mostly stems from a lack of understanding from potential buyers. In many of their minds we're all just domain squatters.

I do agree that there are many names that are way overpriced.

I agree its a golden opportunity! Look at it this way, when search engines were not around years ago lots of domains like porno.com were making BIG BUCKS from PPC! Search engines slowly destroyed PPC, thats about to change with tech like AR! Lots of different devices hitting the market and search will start to change. Every hit from targeted traffic names could be very profitable. When you go to supermarkets most of the time you always buy more items. Visual pages will be like stepping into a virtual supermarket.

Domain landing pages are not dead!

Sold a few names through landers recently and tons over the last two years.

I seem to get the best inquiries @Undeveloped

I only got it after watching your presentation videos. The website confused me somewhat, because one image shows a holographic phone?

Also branding, your domain name (VisualDomains.com) does not tally with the content of the site, you're not selling any domain names?

How many companies are you in competition with?

I actually quite like the concept, but think it will take some time for people to convert. Disagree that domain landing pages are dead - they are what you make them. We do quite well?
