Domain forwarding or parking?

I have a few construction related domains that I have no wish, or time to develop. I dont know if they're worth much but my intention would be to sell them for as much as possible to someone in the same field of work. I did list them for offers on Sedo although theres no pressure to sell and I could wait forever.

Is moving them to a parking page such a great idea? I've only read comments suggest, then criticise or contradict parking pages or selling domains at auction and this is why I'm questioning if a third alternative is a viable option.

Would it be wise to 301 redirect the domain names to my own site that already has google ads running and steady traffic?... or would this be counter productive or cause a drop in value and result in less visibility to potential buyers?

I have searched the forum and apologise if this question has been asked 20 times before, obviously Im a beginner :-/ Thanks in advance.

A redirect would only be plausible if your domains got any type in traffic, if not, then there's no point in redirecting the domains!.

Conceivably, parking them would also be a waste of time if you don't have any traffic.

You could either put up a mini site with some content on them and put a "for sale" sign on?!.

I could throw a single page together with a few ads. Ive been reading that returns arent great on parked pages anyway.

I was reluctant to build, but I realise your suggestion is the best solution as I wouldnt be able to customise a parked page or even get a listing in search engines.

Thanks

I forward my domains to their listing pages at sedo or godaddy. The advantages are these:

With sedo I can forward the domain to the English, French, Spanish or German Sedo listing page.

Again with sedo I add my partner id to the url. This way I get a commission from my own sales. I make between $10 to $20 a month from those commissions.

With godaddy the advantage is that buyers who are from USA will recognise godaddy. Also they have a 24hour phone number on top of the page. It is more convenient for the buyer just to click the "buy now" link and pay directly to godaddy and be done with it instantly instead negotiating with the seller. And domain sellers are mostly unrealistic people who want crazy amounts of money for their average domain.

If you ever contacted domain sellers you will know that it is an unpleasant experience.

Anyway, I suggest to forward your domain where it is listed. I made another sale today at godaddy.

This is the link that you forward to if your domain is listed at godaddy:

This is the link for sedo:
