How many uniques would justify parking a domain?

I have a few celebrity domains (all .com's) and all have some traffic (direct type-ins)

I've never bothered parking them with Sedo, or anyone else, but I suppose I'd like some opinions on how much traffic would be considered " enough" to actually park them with the intention of generating revenue. Traffic varies, but each domain averages roughly 20-30 uniques daily.

My approach is parked all domains first while waiting for buyers or for development.

I recommend that you park them if you are not planning to develop it yet.

Send me email to [email protected] for parking recommendation.

Cheers,

It depends on the names. You said they are celebrity names. Do they have any trade mark issues? What do you plan on doing with them if you do not park them? Do you plan on reselling them? If you want to put up custom content I would recommend Bodis as you can put some specific text on the page along with the ads. An example would be http://cristianoronaldo.com/ (not my name just used as an example) If you plan on developing putting them at Bodis until you are ready to launch the site can't hurt and will most likely get the site indexed while you develope it.

I bought them for the purpose of either reselling and/or parking them for revenue. No trademark issues as far as I know. None of the names are actually trademarked such as "madonna" etc. is that you mean when you say "trademarked" ? If a celeb contacted me and demanded the name, then I'm sure I'd have to give in and hand it over, right?

Probably all domain names of celebrities have trademark issues. However, to answer the op's question. Every domain name you own should be parked if it's not developed, unless you have some specific reason not to. No matter how many uniques or clicks. But... it's not just a matter of parking it on Sedo and watching the pennies roll it. You need to choose your provider carefully, if you care to maximize the parking income. You also need optimize the domain at each parking company using the tools each company provides. It's an art, which needs to be learned. There can be significant differences in revenue.

Sedo is far the lowest parking service at this time. don't go there. I guess some members will agree with me.
