Domain Expiration Confusion

Hi everyone,

I've found a domain I'm DYING to grab. The whois says the domain expired on the 9th august 2010, yet it is still in the redemption period. How can I predict the date/time I can snap this domain? Is there a way to monitor the domain for the second it becomes available please?

If you are dying to grab it then there are probably others willing to do the same. Where is it registered? You should also check out the domain at NameJet and SnapNames to see if anybody else has backordered it.
