As a domain investor someone who makes all or at least a decent portion of your income from domain names do you believe Industry participants (the companies you do business with) take your business for granted or value it very much?

It depends.

On a personal level, I think a lot of the company employees do a great job.

However, many of their soulless corporate overlords not so much.

Some of the changes are clearly not in the interest of consumers and/or are just cash grabs.

In those cases, it is easy to see that some companies take domain investors for granted. Even though those same investors are the life blood for their inventory from aftermarket sales to expired auctions.

Complacency and fear may be the biggest factors, rather than being taken for granted.

Each change comes with risks, even customer loss.

But... YOLO!

"NamePros for president."

(This is not a political statement; it's just for chuckles.)

Some do, some don't. Usually the ones I bring/get business to/from value my efforts.

End of they day, it's business. However, those who value my services and show it's appreciated definitely do get some discounts or additional effort to get things done.

Makes voting complicated with the personal reps being a + but seeing the overall entity negatively.

The industry is full of snakes or people who will rip you off in a heartbeat. You have to tread and negotiate carefully.
