Do moderators ever reply to questions?

A few years back, moderators were very kind and considerate to answer back to private messages about forum issues/questions but nowadays, it seems that they just ignore and hit those moderator privileges buttons quickly.

I really badly miss the namepros of yesterday.

Funny, I don't see any pending questions in the moderator area from you...where did you ask it?

and what's the question?

Mods here always answer back and work with you on concerns and problems. I know because I have had alot of them :)

There are no posts from you asking any questions, so it is a pm right? How long ago did you send it? You know it's the weekend, right?

Asking General Forum questions etc should be done via this method anyway and not by PM.

Possible that the moderator is/was away - could be a number of other things.
Might have also been when there was no PM's/emails getting through to anyone.

So this comment,
it seems that they just ignore and hit those moderator privileges buttons quickly.
kinda uncalled for ;)

If it's personal please contact Admin or a TL.

You have 2 Staff members here available to possibly answer your question,
but I still don't see it.

kev is in a completely different timezone, his weekend started ahead of ours.
I'm sure he will respond in due time....
but if you can't wait, please follow the proper procedures for a faster response,
especially if it is urgent.

It's about my sale on the domain/traffic section. I have provided link to proof of traffi stats there and I believe that I followed the rules. Please take a look. Just that I couldn't publicly post other details about some things as it will violate my affiliate program's NDA, so I asked to PM me instead. I need clarification so I PM'ed the mod who locked the thread. No response whatsoever. and yes, I should have posted my questions on a public forum than of PM.

Hi, Right at the top of the threads there is a post from promo
stating that if stats are not provided, the thread will be closed
http://www.namepros.com/domain-name...94634-no-proof-of-traffic-thread-deleted.html
and then the regular ones
http://www.namepros.com/domain-name...-domain-names-traffic-stats-rules-please.html

it is a requirement if you are claiming them, and they must be posted.
and not in the form of a downloadable .zip file under a shortened url link.

Maybe review some of the others to see how they are doing it without
violating their affiliate TOS's etc

Hope this answers the question for you :)

Please see the zip file, contained are 5months of traffic and revenue stats, screen shot images.
It is a strict requirement that screen shots of traffic proof is included in all threads listed in this section. If a thread is found without traffic proof it will be deleted.
and yet, I've found lots of sales there "without screen shots of traffic proof. All but Copy and pasted figures. Please re-check.

For the threads you see that do not provide the proper requirements, please use the report button
and if kev isin't available then someone else will see the report and can deal with it.

If the threads are found to be in violation of the rules they will be removed also.
A downloadable file is not an accepted method.

I brought this issue up because I feel excluded to the excuses done by other members who were allowed to sell without including "screen shots of traffic proof" and there are a lot there. Is there a "VIP membership" here? so I'll get one for myself. Thank you.

Alright, I'll start on working on the "reporting" now. *great idea. Thanks!

BTW, link to a remote image file is technically "downloading" a downloadable file as those files are saved on a computer's cache.

and thank you for that quick thread locks who violated.

Here are two examples of what I understand to be correct.

as an attachement,
http://www.namepros.com/domain-name...19-kneeboard-info-100-uniques-month-20-a.html
or right in the thread
http://www.namepros.com/domain-name...emium-insurance-domain-all-insurance-net.html

The others will need to be looked at, I have PM'd kev to this thread,
and to have a look at that particular forum for threads that
do not meet the requirements.

Will watch for the reports, thank you :)

the locked threads are past the 7 days with no response:

15. Posted threads will remain valid for seven days following the thread starter's most recent post in the thread, unless specified otherwise by the thread starter.

Most moderators get bombarded with PMs from members who fail to read the rules of the forum. So responding to each and everyone of the messages can be very time consuming.

But maybe a personal response was needed in this case. Downloading a zip file for stats is maybe not the best way of uploading stats...you seem like a decent member but who knows what's included in that zip file?

traffic source information through PM only.

Another point - all traffic data must be disclosed in the thread rather than members having to ask for it.

Please read my PM as I've requested a deletion of that thread. Thanks so much for the clarifications, and yes, I'm a decent member. I'm no way to fool anyone around here on NP because this is my home. Thank you.
