I love the .tv forum!

Hi everyone I love the .TV forum, but I am not going to hang out here too much anymore, everything has gotten wierd around here. I may delete my profile.

I feel like the moderators are specifically targeting me, my posts and threads ever since I posted this thread:

I follow the rules, I do my best to provide helpful information and help my fellow domainers. I asked the mods to do their job and take control of the .tv section since many of the members have been running rampant posting whatever, where ever.

I feel like they took it personal, since then they have deleted several of my posts that were on topic and did not need to be deleted, removed my thread about bringing back the Rookie & Best .tv domainer of the year. It was a positive thread that added to this forum. It was deleted becasue of other people...

While I understand your frustration with the many different personalities in the .Tv sub forum, I do not see the releavance of moderating the people who cant follow rules by deleting my thread. It will not stop the cycle.

How does deleting my thread administer any moderation to anyone except ME?

If anything I have tried really really hard to keep everyone invloved, I have had alot of patience with ****/*****/etc. and all the associated mayhem that ensues.

Don't you think that a more prudent course of action would be to give those who can't stay on topic official warnings or infractions? Or is the prefered course of action to delete threads by helpful members with good intentions just because its too time consuming to sort out the bad posts? As a troll its a perfect scenario, if you disagree, just cause chaos until they delete the thread.

While its not that big of a deal, majority of my time on the computer is consumed by retouching and making websites. I would rather not repost everything that others destroy. Its a waste of my time.

From then on they continued to delete my relevant posts in multiple threads.

I am a very busy person, in paticular my recent life has been crazy, I am getting evicted, had a car accident, was run over yesterday, broke up with my GF and have numerous clients emailing me constantly.

Any bit of time spent here is well thought out and I can't repost everything becasue the mods are lazy and targeting me, enough is enough. I just don't have the time or the capacity to deal with the stress is causes!

Great job alienating me from Namepros!

Don't delete your profile - even if you don't come as often - it doesn't buy you anything and who knows, one day those reviews may come in useful in the future.

Brought to the Admin/Moderators attention and we have been dealing with
these issues all over the .tv forum for you and every one else who has been
sending reports and complaints..

What's changed?

from what I can see, you have had only one post removed and it looks like
it contained a link.

I love .tv, I love the publicity from the auction, What I don't love is how this forum has run a muck. It looks like everyone feels as though they can post whatever they like where ever they like. For years forum etiquette was maintained, sales threads go in the marketplace, you could not comment on sales thread. Appraisal threads went in that section and general discussion her and so on. Now it seams like you can post pretty much where ever you like, shamelessly promote your names with blatant disregard for the rules. For the longest time you could not even post Sedo links in the marketplace, now np members are posting everywehere every few minutes for fear of not selling their names for high enough. Its called domaining. I hope as a forum we can all clean up our act, especially now that the cat is out of the bag. More and more domainers are going to be investing and paying attention, behave like you have been here before.

Why? AT LEAST POST in the right place and we won't have to keep moving stuff!

Usually there is a "moved to..."

This shows that something was, in the opinion of the moderator - selected to make these decisions - moved to a more appropriate location.

This serves two purposes.
One. Lets us know where it was moved to
Two. Lets us know that it was not deleted and merely moved

Both of these will do wonders for the overall opinion that people have of the NP forums in TV land.

I respect that you have to put up with a lot of junk, lots of reports and you have to balance being fair, impartial and follow a set of standards which will always ultimately offend SOMEONE but sometimes a little consideration goes a long way.

I don't know what the answer is. The TV forums are going to pot and ultimately everyone's to blame - call it the flaw and success of public forum. That said.. when there's a concensus of opinion from "senior" users you'd think something would happen.

Rules is rules but except when they're not.
