if you want to set up email, you need dns record so is there a way to configure a dns record for parking instead of only doing nameservers?

How to configure a DNS record to forward to DAN, for example?

Thanks

Yeah, it will work. Web forwarding should be better set for *.yourdomain.com - to cover all subdomains, not only www. Even though in most cases it would just increase bot traffic (trying to scan forum.yourdomain.com and other common subdomains), we still need to think about humans who may mistakenly type ww instead of www etc.

The last but not the least, if the domain has "expired" traffic and if it was previously https:// - no registrar-based forwarding would cover this traffic (as ssl cert is required). In this case, a hosting with a free letsencrypt ssl may help. The yourdomain .com website would have no content, just the forwarding code AND ssl certificate.

Did the domain have https:// at some point of time, set by previous owner(s)? Check here: https://crt.sh (ssl certificates history for any domain). This history is public.
