DN History (Blacklisted)

Ive had my eye on a domain name for the last few years, something that i think would be relevant to a project i'm thinking of starting. It has became available again and i was going to register it. I was just wondering if there are any checks i could do on it first to make sure its now black listed with google or anything like that?

If you google the domain like so.... site:http://www.domain.com do you get any results at all by chance? I believe there is a way to ask Google from their website.
