Huh...Blacklisted?

I was using domaintools checking some domains and sometimes I checked my own domain for history, status, etc. To my surprise one of my domain is blacklisted. How could that be? The domain is parked at Sedo. I registered the domain late last year at Yahoo. This is one of my favorite domain that I will transfer to Moniker. Can anyone tell me how could this be blacklisted and what can I do to clear this from being blacklisted? This was hand registered.

Try checking it's history to see if there was some other site before it that got the domain blacklisted.

in alot of cases, a name will get blacklisted due to server spamming, Once the name is moved off the server in question, It most usually becomes un-blacklisted.

I hand regged a CCC.info last Nov.
Didn't know it was previously owned/blacklisted
I have had a directory on it since then and still
nothing!

I couldn't believed how could this happen. The domain isn't even active and I actually removed it from being park few months ago. I guess I have to transfer it ASAP and hope it will get un-blacklisted. I really like this domain it's brandable.

I recently bought a domain that is blacklisted too. and I am wondering what can be done.

Google is freakin ridiculous for one thing, I had about 10 parked at a parking service a couple of years ago, All 10 names got blacklisted, The parking service. server was spamming was the reason, after a couple of months after getting them off that server, they were un-blacklisted.

One thing you may consider, domaintool -whois.sc has been known not to update at times, try another whois service

I just now realized that 4 of my domains that I haven't transfer from Yahoo are all Blacklisted. It seems to me that yahoo server is using my domains to send spam. What a freaking joke.
