status-resolved Deny top forum request without posting in another forum

When a domain is requested to be listed in TOP forum and it's rejected, the domain name is instead posted in the "above $500" forum. However, I didn't want to put it in that forum (otherwise I would have just done so). The TOP forum has prestige and if a domain name is listed there then people expect it to be good as it's been vetted by someone. The other forums are not the same at all.

When you deny a request for TOP forum, can you just deny it and have a message in my inbox letting me know, without posting it in another forum please?

We do that because we have to put it somewhere (Not always in make offer), but you can edit out the domain and close the thread to have a similar effect. Or report the post for us to do it for you. Another option could be making your request in the thread itself and if the moderator notices it, I’m sure they’d be happy to edit out the contents and close it for you if it’s not approved.

I did report it, because for some reason it's locked and closed and I can't do anything with it.

If you have to do it that way due to system limitations no worries.
