Suggestion when posting.

Hey,

I reported yet another thread for being in the wrong forum today...

So, i decided to flick through some of the threads i'v reported within a month.
Some were for serious reasons, posting certain material etc...

However, i counted 9 reported threads that people had posted in the wrong forum...(Excluding Web Design Review forum)
Most of them within the last week or two...

So, here is the suggestion.
Upon posting a new thread, when clicking submit, it shows a message saying...

You are posting in Forum name
This would be the forum description here

Then, the user has the choice to click continue and post the thread, or, select a forum from a Dropdown menu of the forum to post in.

Just like a little reminder to check forum names and descriptions before posting...

It shouldn't be a hard mod to make. :hehe:

I just think it would make the forum look tidier, threads in the right place etc...

It does seem like a bit of a bine to all the members that legitimately post that they have to have another check in place. However, I know what you mean about threads being in the wrong place.

You've got the right idea, but that would become a lot of a nuisance. Eventually people won't pay any attention to it.

Also compare the number of threads posted in the correct forum vs. the number of threads posted in the incorrect forum. It's a relatively small ratio.

Keep up the suggestions, though!
