Watch
The overall momentum in the crypto market has changed from bearish to bullish and we can expect to see higher highs in crypto prices in the near and distant future.

This switch in the market is great for domain investors, more new startups will emerge in the crypto space and blockchain technology will continue to evolve.

Well, at least the near future. There seems to be a solid bottom on BTC and crypto overall for now, but still there is nothing supporting crypto currency. Sentiment right now is good, but the moment everyone remembers that the whole thing is based on nothing, it might go back to the 3000's and then domains go idle again.

Crypto domains are probably a long term hold. Buy them when people drop them due to bearishness and then sell when the bull comes back. Still don't think we will see $10k BTC without several major, painfull sell-off's.

Agreed. I think another bullish cycle is coming for crypto currency.

I hope my aircrypto.com, coindiscuss.com, cryptopurchase.net and other domains will be gold in 2 years :) Yes, it has probably formed a bottom. But it's not a one way road, and clearest sign for a new rally will actually be a correction of the current rally followed by a new high.

the coin may bounce back, but because of over supply of crypto related names, I don't think many domain names will survive those yearly renewals

marijuana, cannabis and cbd investments, have taken money out of crypto, just like crypto took money out of chips.

I guess that's something to chew on

;)

imo….

I agree with @biggie - too many registered, unused crypto domain names out there in the market. Yeah, I've got some too (don't we all?), including one with 2 of @JudgeMind 's keywords (cryptobtcn.com) and BitcoinMinder.com ... but I'll hold and wait ...

What? People that have done homework don’t really agree.

I’m not sure there is a logical explanation or data to back up your thought. Far too much to dispute it actually...

I own about 100. I have found they are actually easier to make money from if you invest in an auto blogging starter site. I have them listed on several ad exchanges and have already made the intial spend back. Also helps populate the domain on google and give it a good Alexa rank come sale time.

- 25 btc atm Domains
- several coin names - verificationtoken, musictoken, resumecoin.

- 10 ICO promotion domains

- 25 news outlets (some live - recognizecrypto.com / onlycryptodaily.com )

- by far the best pickups were my gambling domains. Sportsbookbtc.com betbtc.vegas cryptosportsbook.xom

I’ve sold:

Livecryptoinformation.com - 550
Epaywallets.com -250
Cryptowhalebets.io - 200

I’ve had several low ball offers for the gambling domains - 500-$1000.

Not sure if you know what you're talking about, because over the past 12 months bitcoin has sold off more than 80% since it's ATH, it's extremely over sold. At this point fundamentals are taking over as overall crypto adoption has been increasing dramatically since last year.

More importantly within 1 year bitcoin miner rewards will reduce by 50%, history has shows that there is always price appreciation leading up to and succeeding the halvening. Price appreciation must happen for miners to remain profitable as their mining rewards diminish over time.

Well the main thing is that there was a flood of crap domains, and some crazy people believed that they could sell 3 or even 4 word domains with nonsense words for 5,000. They started to drop again since autumn. But most of them will be gone in the next months.

I have one of the best crypto domain portfolios (CryptoMarket.com, CryptoAsset.com, BlockchainInfo.com, etc.) and can confirm the number of inquiries/sales, which had dropped dramatically last year, started to increase once again, but still nowhere near the volume/prices of the last Bitcoin peak ($20,000).

However I'm already in talks for one possible six figures sale which would be the first this year.

I am very optimistic about the cryptocurrency industry, but I don't think the COIN keyword is the main sales force in the future. I am adjusting my portfolio to meet this change. I think there will be more people joining the encryption domain development in the future, but they will not. Will be our buyer, the real buyer I think is the "Wall Street" that comes with it
