Degrassi’ Star Neil Hope: Actor’s Death Revealed 5 Years Later

I worked with Neil at Money Mart in 1998.. I started working for Money Mart in 1995-1998.Niel came to our store at King and Dufferin
Toronto Canada. I did not realize It was him until a co worker told me he was in degrassi.He was a regular guy worked hard and never indicated he was on the show. When I asked he mentioned that there was a “Black Ball issue” I did not pursue the issue. I left Money Mart that year and that was that.All in all Working with him was working with anyone else. I just heard of his death and its so strange as I never knew anyone who passed away I worked with. He was a good guy I hope he finds peace.

I heard about this but have no idea who he was or the show, sorry.

Strange when anyone you know dies.. company I worked for had two suicides in one year.. both young guys I worked closely with. One overdosed (recovering addict), the other, a lonely kid, stuck a knife in his neck.. always tragic when people lose an internal battle like that.
