It probably looses far less traffic than how much it gains from the search engine results IMO

I think type in traffic in general is quiete often given more credit than it is due.

I just noticed I read your question wrong :td: oops - not sure on that one ?

I would think the % lost by having a hyphen would be massive in this case, more so if advertised on the radio.

I think the dashed domain would loose a certain percentage of type-in traffic when compared to the one without a dash.

what is the original question? the dashed lose traffic or the non-dashed lose traffic? The non-dashed should not lose traffic.

the dashed doesnt exist im gonna reg it to capture traffic lost from the non dashed

If you are talking about type in traffic then the hyphen version is not likely to capture any traffic from the non-hyphened version.

If you are talking about developed websites then "sometimes" the hyphen works better in search engines but this is only a very small part in deciding how well a website is ranked - incoming links - page title - quality content - page design etc.

I am a bit confused as to what you really mean - If someone promotes a hyphen domain/business over the radio then the chances are more people with go to the non-hyphen address.

I would'nt think the other way is likely to work but hey, who knows JMO of course. :)
