DAN.COM (formerly known as Undeveloped.com) is on a path to be become the biggest domain marketplace in the world. We use state of the art technology to solve everyday problems buyers and sellers in the domain industry face. At DAN.COM we focus on automating most processes required to buy & sell domains to increase a more efficient and active secondary market for domains.

What sets us apart is our strong focus on product development and customer satisfaction. We leave nothing to chance and every single feature and element we introduce is professionally and carefully designed and built.

DAN.COM is ranked in the top 5 best-rated marketplaces in the world (According to the biggest review platform Trustpilot) and in the domain industry, we're the domain marketplace with the highest rating with an average of 9,4 out of 10 points.

At DAN.COM you will get the highest value for the lowest commission around. Due to our domain transfer automation, we can offer significantly faster handling of domain transactions and payouts (usually within 24 hours) at the lowest fee charged by any domain marketplace.

We've been the first on many fronts and proudly will continue to keep innovating. We were the first to offer optimized for sale pages since 2013, the first to provide payment plans in the form of lease to own and rentals and also the first and only domain marketplace offering free SSL on all domains parked with us for over a year now.

Suddenly I am receiving my payments from DAN in my bank account the same day they are sent. It used to take two business days. That is a good improvement!

it doesnt work like that for everyone and or every payment.

This recent reply is why Dan absolutely requires a CLOSE & DELETE TRANSACTION button:

"fuck you, i had this domain for $10 a year and you swiped it when i forgot to renew, domain squatters eat shit"

No way domain sellers should have to put up with this garbage, without any facility to end and delete the transaction.

I'm sure they had many reminders to renew, and isn't there a grace period they can still reclaim even after expiration? No pity.

Might be a stupid question/answered already so appologies (whos got time to read 182 pages) but is there a way to individually set BIN or BIN & Make Offer on your names? I can only set this on all or none. I tried taking min offer off the names I want set as BIN only but the lander still has Make Offer then the names I do want BIN & Make Offer only show BIN and Rent to Buy with offer option.

Edit...

Having checked a few names the BIN only names appear to be ok now (having taken min offer away) but the names O do want Make Offer on only show BIN and Lease to Own. Do I have to remove Lease to Own to make it show Make Offer?

It depends on your universal setting.

On your For Sale Page settings, set your selling option to Buy now + Make offer.

Below it, enable installments and set Make Offer to "On". Then save your changes.

Then on your portfolio page, you can now select any domain and set its BIN price and starting offer price if you want both BIN and make offer on the landing page.

Set BIN price and starting offer price to the same amount if you only want BIN on the landing page.

If you only want make offer on the landing page, set the starting offer price and leave the BIN price blank.

If you want all options to show on the landing page, then on the portfolio page, set BIN price, starting offer price and then select IN (short for installment. It should turn blue ๐Ÿ”ต once selected, that is if it was disabled before).

Thank you very much for taking the time to explain. Very much appreciated!

Yeah, it's always "soon" and I find it amusing that the initiator of the transaction has full rights, but the seller (often times the victim) has to sit there and take the verbal abuse until support gets around to dealing with these nitwits.

Just a tad unfair.

After this latest "angry little man" incident, I am seriously considering forwarding all my traffic to Sedo again, where I can close these twits down immediately.

Kinda missed the point there.

Regardless of reason, any buyer on Dan can post the most vile and profane-ridden comments they please, over and over and over and over, and the seller has no ability to close the transaction or block the (cough) buyer. Each of their comments is followed up by an email alert, again over and over and over and over, and sellers are forced to endure the abuse and wait for a Dan support email to be answered and acted upon.

Other sales venues like Sedo allow the seller to immediately end the transaction and then you can report the user for abuse - it takes about 1 second to nip a situation like this in the bud.

Delete the said name from Dan. Then re add the name, see if that works.
Be interesting to see as buyer, what happens when you make offer and the name is deleted from system.
Someone messaged me with that comment, i would forward the name somewhere unpleasant and message them. Type domain in your browser for special offer

I had a similar incident on DAN where the person was just really annoying and kept offering the same low-ball amount even after I declined and said bye in the DAN chat/messaging system. I had to redirect that domain name to a different platform to try and stop the "abuse" from that person

Dan support just got back to me and the transaction has been deleted and the user won't be bothering me from that email, which I assume means his account has been deleted.

Dan still needs to let sellers control the transactions we take part in, as some buyers will definitely abuse this one-sided system.

I had a similar response like this recently.

Used some of my old security skills and found out who the 'you don't know who I am' person is/was. Bought his first/last and first/middle/last name and started a little 'fan' page by posting his comments.

Both domains are for sale of course.

I wasn't commenting on the vulgar comment, which yes is annoying.
I am reminding folks to renew their domains so they don't end up like this person in this situation (assuming the name was really theirs previously)

(assuming the name was really theirs previously)

And that's a very real concern as subsequent replies mentioned using the same registrar I am using, when the domain was actually on GD when it dropped.

But you can catch some real psychos when you're selling domains, hence the need to cancel/block transactions when one pops on your radar.

well dan does a lot of new stuff.. maybe.we wish more..but compared to other places that.seem frozen in time.
sedo gd... afternic too tho now they have some new beta ui which imo is worst than prev one... so ya imo dan innovates more than others..

driving traffic to market would be nice.. balance credit keeping from payouts will be great..coming in few months I hear.. cause it sucks to.bank wire 200usd at 20usd cost...what else..well few things... but kinda minor.. I think biggest issue is zero sales.and even offers from their market direct.. bummer..

they are nice.company with nice stuff like laszlo... I'm sure bigger players offered millions to buy em out a few times. but they keep at it. which is.neat.

when they become registear one day too..
could be game changer.. of course it.will never work unless they have best prices.
