I hate when they assume the transfer was your idea and want you to respond if you want it cancelled, rather than the other way around. What if you're on vacation and can't respond?

For the record, I do not want the name transferred. I notified them by email rather than clicking on the link they provided.

Dear Customer,

Resellers India received notification on Sunday, Oct 8, 2006 that you have requested a transfer to 1000006000 for ****.us. If you want to proceed with this transfer, you do not need to respond to this message. If you wish to cancel the transfer, please click on the below link before Friday, Oct 13, 2006:

Click Here to cancel the transfer of ****.us

If we do not hear from you by Friday, Oct 13, 2006, the transfer will proceed.

Don't you need the auth code at present to transfer a .us away ?

Dang, that's dumb. "Don't respond if you want it transfered", WOW.

Also, isn't your domain supposed to be locked?

Yes, you do need an auth code, and the domain is locked, but I worry that if I don't respond the registrar takes that to imply that I want the transfer to proceed and may make the necessary arrangements without me.
