Just wondering..... I did once on a typo and it made it in. Not sure if anyone will ever see it, but I thought I would try on a fluke Yes, eventually I hope to sell the name in question. An LLLLL.com. Just curious if any other domainer has done the same?

actually kind of the opposite for me. i found a 5L.com available but it had a bad meaning in urban dictionary so i didn't reg it.

if you do have a very nice name that you can easily see being meaningful, then submitting it to urban dictionary might be a good idea. so like made up words like... i don't know, "telemon" for example, and say it's any computer monitor that you can watch tv on. ;)

I see your point about a negative conotation being a deciding factor against regging a name. In my case I came up with a creative definition on a LLLLL.com, a typo that made it in. Sure enough it is the first thing you see if you do a search.

I tried it with one of my domains, but they would not accept it, doggonit.

I'm opposed to this. It's the equivalent of writing spam comments on blogs. http://www.urbandictionary.com/ is meant to be a guide to emerging slang and street talk. There are thousands of meaningless domains. If you start cluttering up the Urban Dictionary with meaningless letter combinations, claiming that they are somehow real words, you reduce its usefulness as a genuine resource.

I understand where you are coming from. However, if one is creative enough
and a non-meaningless "word" makes it in, why not.
