Could L-L-L-L .coms be the next BIG thing ? Or L-L-L .nets ?

Hello all my lovely namepros people on board.

So recently all the L-L-L.coms is gone.

Is there a possibility the next big hit would be L-L-L-L .coms ?
or C-V-C-V .coms ?
or could it be L-L-L .nets ?
or could it be cute pronounceable 5 letter coms ?

pronounceable 5 letter coms are already decent.

I don't know that L-L-L-L.com will ever really be popular unless it's a good dictionary word, and even then would be pushing it in my opinion.

I'd say 48 chars domain names with a pattern that goes like this:
C-V-N-C-V-N- .... -C-V-N.com
where C is consonant, V vowel and N a number.
There are only 908 billions combinations, supply on demand baby!

- i'm kiddin, the only thing I can see for the (not so near) future are pronunciable 5L.com. imho.

I like 3 letter .nets. I have some(AND 1 N-N-N):

M-P-3 .net c-c-c
G-E-O .net
O-W-N .net
S-O-X .net
C-U-M .net
3-6-0 .net

I believe a premium "word" will def. hold their own (IMO).

L-L-L-L.com won't happen. In my opinion there are too many affordable alternatives, L-L-L.com are alternatives to LLL.com, and if for some reason someone would need an L-L-L.com alternative, it wouldn't be L-L-L-L.com.

Nobody is using them for websites.. (correct me if I am wrong).. I mean who would ever type it in their address bar..

So as I see it .. They are bought by domainers.. To be resold to other domainers, that think they can sell em even higher to yet other domainers..

No end user really wants these.. But since there are getting more and more domainers each day, and we have to buy something, all l-l-l.coms are now taken. Only people that could be happy about this is the registrars...

Your wrong try searching namepros before acting next time.

Their is loads of L-L-L.com websites and quarter of them are corporate companies selling thier produtcs/info on thier product.

i really wish people wouldnt say somethink which they havnt even tryed to research.

Arnie said somethng similar to me in the poll thread, so I did some spot checking, about twenty random L-L-L.coms . The high premiums were seeing a lot of use, middle premiums had some websites on them too (didn't bother to check the bad letters). An artist used his initials. A smallish but national company used the two letter acronym of its name and seemingly, a random third letter. Some Chinese company, who knows what they do. They were not world shakers, some were vanity sites, but yes, L-L-L.coms are being used, much to my surprise. And severely counter to the no-hyphens conventional wisdom.

Without any real data who is to say, but use of L-L-L.coms seems to be on a level with LLLL.coms. And I missed the boat. (I have other good stuff, no wories)

The dash is hurting, but in the case of LLL's, I see them working because there is a limited supply and multiple companies have them. So those who cannot afford to get the LLL will likely accept the L-L-L.
