Contacting owner of .co.uk domain

Hi,

I'm interested in acquiring a .co.uk domain, currently it's parked with 1and1 (our customer has recently registered ... message).

I've done a whois but the domain has an invalid address attached and no name / email / telephone is listed.

What can I do with this?

Bear in mind that if it's invalid it will be contrary to the terms they signed when they regg'd the domain - something about keeping whois up to date.

You could contact 1and1 directly and ask them, unless the customer has opted out of public info display.

The UK based Nominet is the registry for all .co.uk names. Even when I registered some .co.uk names through Godaddy, I received correspondence from Nominet in the form of actual paper confirmation of registration etc. Try checking the name again through Nominet and then emailing them to find out how you proceed from there.
