Contacting the owner of an 'omitted from WHOIS' domain...

Hi,

I'm interested in putting in an offer for a domain which someone owns already. However, I have no way of contacting them as they've paid to hide their contact details in the WHOIS database.

The owners name (a woman by the name of Alison) shows up in the WHOIS info, but nothing else. I've phoned the registrar, but they won't help either for the same reason.

Is there anyway (without waiting for her to put a website up so I can contact her) to find out the contact details of the owner to make an offer for the currently unused domain?

I guess it is a .co.uk domain ?
The yellow pages may be your best bet then.
