I have a two domain names( both are .com) that I am actively marketing for sale right now so I decided to contact the dot net variant registrants of each respective domain name but it seems they both have whois privacy lock, so I cannot see their email address when I check with whois.com, is there any other way I can
contact these potential buyers seeing as they are already using the dot net variant of the domain name?

Well most likely the ones who own the .net are normally domainers I doubt you'll get a decent price, unless of course the .net is developed.

Try Godaddy whois I have been able to get email addresses from some of the domains that have whois protection... which is really weird but it works sometimes

If they paid for the domain and then put privacy on the full domain history will reveal but only if was an after thought. 50% of the time.

Whois blocker still provide some form of e-mail address. You could try that and it may end up with the owner.

Try sending a email to "admin@WebsiteName(.)net".. might work..
