I am considering offers on some of my .mobis in the market section, but I am also interested to know if there are any names on that list that stand out as far as development or reseller value or that might be considered a good match for this extension. All constructive opinions and free advice are welcomed from the mobi pros in here.

Domains at .mobi market place:

manhattanrentals - i like would be nice to have listings to look at on your phone as you are out looking for properties, if it could be developed down to subsections of manhattan, i.e. financial district, soho, midtown, etc.

There are a number that jump out at me, but some of the ones that "jump" most for development are these:

BarExam.mobi
TrafficMaps.mobi
JobOpenings.mobi

Without a doubt for me the strongest name in your list for dev is ACTtest.mobi. The mobile demographic is young and this name is directly targeted to high school kids. Beautiful. ACT.mobi is premium and could be used in ways other than the ACT test. Develop this, and quick. You've got hundreds of thousand, if not millions, of high school kids waiting to visit your site.

Using popularsearches.com:
Overture for ACT TEST is 17,268
Trellian for ACT TEST is 62,462

Google for "act test" is 571,000

Hi

Curious..

Are these all your domain names Dot Mobi or are these just your Dot Mobis that you want to put up for sale now (and you have many others you are keeping for development/investment etc.)

It would matter in my assessment because otherwise I would say there is nothing leaking from putting those names up for sale - as long as you have control of getting the price you want. (And perhaps you have more Dot Mobi domain names that you are saving for development/investment?)

Kind Regards,

Yelo

I didnโ€™t get the chance to pre regg any dot mobis and most of my names are from after the open registration, so I donโ€™t have any true premium dot mobis like some of you guys, I tried to build up my mobi portfolio gradually as my budget allowed. Right now I am in the process of choosing the ones that have the best potential, but I need to sell a few to fund any future development of my dot mobis.

I got to do the best with the ones that I have, I hope that there are some more good ones in there.

Perhaps my standard of premium is too high because I only think of a domain as being true premium if it is in the same class as sports, news, or realestate dot mobis , or that it is valued in the upwards of six figures. In the dot mobi case a premium domain probably needs to be a good fit for mobile use the way that sports and news mobis are. Those who were lucky enough to get some premium dot mobis would know it themselves, but it is the rest of the domains that fall in between that need some consideration as to their value and usefulness.

Do you all see any premium domains on my list.:)

I value the feedback that I have already got, I am hoping to get more opinions that would help me sort out my dot mobis. Like most others I got carried away registering many random domains, but I want to use my resources and efforts on the ones that have some real potential.

I've bought a couple of domains from you and I think that you do have a high standard for stamping a domain as premium. But that is a good thing, most of the "for sale" threads have title's that say "premium domains" or "ultra premium domains" and you look at the thread and the domains aren't worth reg fee's.

I agree with your view of what a premium domain is. Most of the domains that I've had "certified" by PD I don't consider premium myself. Keep up your standards and hopefully it will filter down. :tu:

Most domainers are in the habit of using the word premium as long as the domain has a good value or potential, and that is why I used the phrase โ€œtrue premiumโ€ which in my opinion excludes most of the domains that are referred to as premium, even in the reserved premium list for dot mobis there is only a small percentage of true premium domains even though those are all referred to as premiums. IMO

Now lets get back on the original subject which was giving some constructive opinions and free advice on my dot mobis.:)

I like SkyCam.mobi the best.

Many people do not have GPS devices in their cars, so this niche site can fill the "traffic report" needs. The bad part is that you will need to do some heavy lifting to get this site developed ($, time, etc)

imho

Thanks for all the responses so far.

If you see more than one domain that is worthy of some attention please list them in the order of importance.

Waiting for more opinions and free advice.:)
