sales .Com's Sweep 9 of the Week's Top 10 Domain Sales and Biggest .IT Sale Ever Reported is Revealed

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. Sales both old and new are in the spotlight this week The biggest story came today when the biggest .IT (Italian country code) domain sale ever reported came to light. The sale actually took place in 2016 but the price was private until now and the blockbuster figure is more than 7 times higher than the previous record sale for that extension (at close to a half million dollars it was also the first six-figure .IT sale ever reported). On the current sales front the .coms swept 9 of the top 10 entries on our latest all extension Top 20 sales chart. The non .com gTLDs also finally got a bounce after some rough sledding, putting four names on the elite list.
