.shop .com or .shop for an Onlineshop?

Hi guys

I have a hypothetical question.

A seller of a premium domain sell the domain "exampleshop.com" for 10'000 US$.
The premium domain "example.shop" is free and you can register it for 2000 US$ per year.

in which domain ending would you invest? .com or .shop? why?

I had same questions but i came to know .com is good value

1. Everyone want .com domains
2. Easy to remember
3. Easy to sell
4. Easy to rank in Organic listing

If you want buy and sell it then go for .com but if you want to build a store then .shop is okay.

And after 5 years, you'll get this $10K amount in renewals
And you'll probably will be able to buy exampleshop.com
And probably exampleshop.com will rise in the price or would be sold
You can lease to buy it for 5 years and then it will be yours with the same amount of money

I'd definitely negotiate to buy exampleshop.com over committing to buy and renew example.shop for $2000/year. Example must be some awsome keyword at those prices. You are welcome to DM me if you'd like to continue the discussion in private.
