Cold.com up for Auction at $1million+

The financially unchallenged amongst us may be interested to learn that COLD.COM is being auctioned - minimum bid $1 million - there is a thread here on NP about cold.com where the guy who registered it back in 1996 was asking how much it was worth -it seems he has now put it up for sale

although it is a great generic 1 word .com, I can't see enough commercial value in "cold" as a keyword to justify the 1 mil price tag

I'd like to see any company justify to their shareholders spending $1M+ on a domain like this under current economic conditions...

I think it will get over a million - big pharmas are not feeling the pinch as much as everyone else and they might even view it as a bargain

I noticed in your post that you stated that business.com went for 7.5 million. Well, it actually got resold at 360 million.

Drugs probably...no money in that. Lets not take this too far, it is a very good name, just has no chance of selling with that asking price.

so many people get cold in the winter, if you can sell any junk medicine/herb, you will make some money from the mass market.
