Hello!

A friend of mine contact me with some urgency. He entered some .cm auctions through Namejet but he is now with buyer's remorse. If nobody bids on them can't him retract his bid?
I'm not sure if he has contacted Namejet, I'll ask him that now.

Hmmm...are these auctions that are still going on or auctions that he has already won? A lot of people on the forum have been backing out of won auctions by removing their credit card information from NameJet, but I personally don't think this is a reputable approach. I completely understand buyers remorse regarding .CM auctions, but most of the buyers should have known the costs involved. (This still doesn't excuse the name server issue, but I was aware of that before I won the auction for my sole .CM).

I decided not to buy any (yet at least) for +/- $110, so I haven't participated. When he told me he had several at $400... Yikes...

Ahhh, yes! I can completely understand that with several. On my end, I lost on my auction, but then after THREE people that bid higher backed out I was the winner. I am glad that I had the liquidity to take care of it, otherwise that would have been unexpected.
