If you have ever used allfordomains and if you want them successfully prosecuted please contact Chasetech at DNF, he's gathering statements from other victims for his class action suit.

Don't let them get away with this.

as posted on DNF :
Hey All:

So back when I got into this Domain Name game, I got scammed by AllForDomains. I've since seen several posts describing the same sitution that I went through, and I'm sick of people getting ripped off. Not to mention I want to get my money back.

That being said, I'm looking for people who were ripped off as well, and would like to testify. I'm going to do a class action lawsuit, and would like any help I can get. I've got tons of proof against their bogus claims and such, but the more people I can get involved, the better.

Please PM me and post here "PM sent." I will be contacting you shortly for your story.

Thank you very much for your time and interest, and take care!

I was about to reply saying that the link can be accessed by members only and saw an update to your post. Thanks. Will look for Chasetech's email and send him the details of my case with allfordomains.

Scam ?
Care to share in detail what the register is being accused of ?

search for "allfordomains" and you get your answer ;).

The main scam would be, they lure people into using their appraisal "service" by faking potential buyers, they also sold mailinglists of these "potential buyers" who then lure you into using the appraisal services.
At least that's my opinion based on experience.

why bother probably a couple of guys out of a third world country. What are you going to sue?

China is still a third world country. May be you live in first world, the place where things of "third world", like the effects of Katrina happens, and many other ugly things. We are all humans and it is good to know each other, I am sure if you travel a bit more you will understand the world better and do not use the words that you used in this ocassion.

Thiefs are thiefs everywhere. Good luck in your class action, and letยดs get back to domains.

As it was totally at the discretion for anyone to refuse the requested appraisal,
I don't know how successful a class action will be,but lot's of luck.

Is this the guy who emails people saying that he owns a software company and wishes to buy x domain from you? And then says please pay for an appraisal $$ at http://x ?

This is what their website says - I have never had any dealings with them :)
I am glad to say

Domain Scam Warnings This board, which is the #1 board on domain scam and fraud, shows you the ins and outs of protecting yourself from all the newest domain scams.

ATTENTION Fraud alert: "If somebody send a domain renewal notice with a Web address (URL) for you to get more information, but in reality, they have programmed that URL to function the same way as if you went through the process of agreeing to transfer your domain name. Be careful. Check your records to find the company that you registered your domain name with. If another company solicits you, ignore it. Don't click on the URLs of other solicitations. Don't pay phony looking invoices."

A bit ironic eh :hehe:
