advice .city domain for actual website/service?

Let's say you're not worried about reselling a domain name. You just want to create a website providing very specific information about...just about every city in the world. Nevermind the specificss of how this might be accomplished. Let's say the perfect keyword is available with a .city extension. Visually I can't imagine anything more pleasing than to see the keyword most visitors would type to find this information about a specific city, followed by .city.

What do you say?

When you say "visually", it means visually seeing your domain showing up on Search engine results. So SEO and engaging content, would be king. From my experience, even if you have a less-than-perfect domain name, if you have solid content, you can beat the wannabes sitting on much better domain names.

I own a couple of 1-word and 2-word .COM domains with wannabe content, and i got trampled by brandable domains that have authority content. I think Bing and Yahoo are more receptive to exact match domains, than Google.
