Is it a somewhat good estimate that
chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

Share your thoughts please

This whole showboat could have easily turned the opposite way at $1000 - he made the right play selling then.

Especially considering that these "highly valued assets" were selling for $20 - $60 not too long ago.

Didn't the Chinese have the internet then too... they must have had comcast installed in 2013 but didn't set up their router till earlier this year. :xf.rolleyes:

I won $1300 playing roulette two weeks ago, starting with $40 - the dealer was lazy, or inexperienced, and was rolling to the same part of the wheel over and over. After I walked away i saw he rolled to the same pattern of numbers three more times.

Was I a fool for walking away with a nice return - of course not - and I certainly didn't kick myself.

I sold my 'chip' domains - for $300 - $600 each and am 100% cool with that because I bought them at $20 - $60 - not because I thought that was the top by any means, but because there are a lot of domains you can buy for a lot less to turn a larger profit.

Hindsight is 20/20, and if this market did start to turn around $1000 the same people that are saying 'told you so' now would be saying 'told you so' if it fell below $1000 and would call the 100 CP seller a genius for selling so high.

It could turn on Monday for all we know. Nobody knows. But it will turn eventually, and to think otherwise is just foolish.

If you know your history, there is nothing safe about assets involved with flights to secure wealth. Gold, Bitcoin, domains...

I am not upset that I sold some at $1000, I am upset, because I had like 50 remaining ones of them in start november, I think last ones went to escrow on 7 nov or so. And then I thought Ok, looks like they don`t move anywhere lets sell, and after one week they where at $2000

You shouldn't be upset at all, but many people have been projecting a $3000 - $3500 ceiling.

It can go any way at any moment, be happy with your profits :xf.smile: There are people that sleep on the streets and have nothing to eat... how about that guy that needed a face transplant - now that's something to be upset about.

The thing is no one can time markets - it is not possible. Anyone who claims being capable of that is a moron. Many many times markets will move once you have sold. This will happen over and over again in any market. The best strategy against that is not only buying in tranches but selling in tranches. NEVER sell everything at once. NEVER buy everything at once. Problem solved.

You will get a nice average that way.

I'm lucky enough to have a few CHPs left. Here's my strategy to sell. Once one sells I increase the price on all the other by around 20%. Than I wait for the next level and repeat. Its working. When I hit one left I'll just go through the roof on pricing.

With the new buyouts I try to cover my costs quickly and start the same strategy.

Domeen sold all his CP's about a month ago for around $1100 each, that's why he is frustrated.
He now holds about 200 non CP's.......

I would be upset too, prices are about to reach triple that price very soon.

I hold all of mine for now :)

Yes now i remember that was Domeen who listed 25 names here on this forum i just got 8 from him and other guy bought 17 and i do not got chance to buy all other name from him.
This all happen very quickly once he listed name for sale why because he had already made fortune by buying at $100 and selling at $1k each to me and other lucky guy and may be he has sold more to other who know only he know how many he has sold at 1k or that range and thanks to him.

Now this for Domeen look you may be bought under $100 and i paid you around 1k so you got 10 time profit don't you think i will wait till it get atleast 5 time on my invstment.

I will say, at $2000 each price on regular 4 letter.com-s I will exit : )
So you know

Now i tell you you are still not doing this by math i hold more then 200 non chips we will never going to get 2k for each if we get 1k for non chip would be really good return for us the reason is quantity.

Hi i m confuse on your OCt 16 list it say 533 above 10k and Nov 15 it is 155 this look to me mistakes.
Plus other fact is maximum we can expect to sale is 10k it will never going up unless end user deal as your data show no movement at 10k level.
should we think 8k is top exit floor price.

160 000 premiums
300 000 non premiums

Thats not that big difference. But you might be right, you are smarter

It will not be hitting 8K.
It may pan out around 3.5K-4.5K.

for 5 times your investment you have to wait long. I waited for 10 years for 10 times

Hi, its not mistake, you know sometimes investors/domainers move domains from one price range to another.
This was someone who have many domains, so it happens time to time. Don't know what will be next floor price. Maybe it will be near 1/10 price of the LLL.com ~4K-5K first.

The problem is even not in quantity. Most of these qkvu, jzqa, vqav, etc are uselless. They are just collectibles and liquid speculative funds.

LLLL.com - 456976
CP LLLL.com - 160000
Quad Premiums - 83521
CP Quad Premiums - 28561
Quad Premiums that are not CPs = 54960
Quad premiums that are not CPs are underprised in this hype. Actually there is very small number of them - only 55k. Half of them is already developed. Almost no drops, yet sometimes price for them is the same we saw in 2008. And it is not normal when quad premium cost almost the same as useless qkvu.com, but we observe these ridiculous prices when somebody buys qkvu.com for 250-300$ while at another marketplace ogct.com $405.00 (yes, not the best one, but at least it has theorical chances to get end user, while qkvu no...)

But at least what I see number of non-CP quads on market for sale is very low. For 40 CP sales only 9 Quads sales.

Sorry, but this is too funny, if I talked about some Chinese premiums being worth nothing. You guys said Chinese don't care. There is too much demand. They want to collect and trade. They now already take 3 letter non chinese premiums for 30k each like candy.
