Is it a somewhat good estimate that
chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

Share your thoughts please

Q & J are anti-premium letters for the nglish demand but widely used in china.
P & C are of high strength at same rank.

So the rank from highest to lowest would be:

P
C
J
Q

Doesn't Q rank higher than P

No, Q is an anti-premium English letter while P is a premium English letter.
Yes but this is a Chinese Premium thread. Letter priority is different .. well I think. I'll let others answer.

I know that this is a chinese premium thread. P is a chinese premium letter as well as a western premium letter.

Besides, just because people have money to burn, doesn't mean they are smart or will make good investments. The average NPer has more knowledge about domains but is nonetheless losing money.

</devil's advocate>

Again, proving your lack of foresight. You simply dont realize that China is a completely different market. A different market with completely different rules. Only because LLLL never took off in the US, doesn't mean the same applies to China. We already know the hard facts why they use those names. The Chinese simply outnumber us a great deal and are capable of creating very liquid markets. I am pretty sure this will continue long into 2016 and beyond. Why? Because they created a completely new market and those floor prices are not suddenly going to disappear, because it's not a bubble. They can set the prices now .. in fact, more and more commodities prices are made in China. Just take a look at Bitcoin. 90% of the Bitcoin market is China, they provide the liquidity. Without China, Bitcoin prices would fall to $50 and not be stable at around $300.

What most on NP here have proven over and over again is their lack of foresight and unwillingness to take risks. Stop talking and act. Make some money, there are plenty of opportunities for everyone.

I see a lot of people criticizing people like Rick Schwartz but he has proven it again, taking a gamble and holding for the long term is the best strategy you can have. Plus he's also into development. People like Rick will always outsmart the competition because he treats domaining like a business. And in business you have to take risks. You should also diversify and never throw good money after bad. If you always play devil's advocate you will never make money.

Looks like the prices even fell a little yesterday.
Even Chinese will not buy all that come up to this market at this prices.

Thats the thing, if they get too expensive, demand will fall..

I still think amazing rise, but a lot hype in it. Too many want to own some of them. - Too fast.

Wiser to wait and not bid on everything, choose wiser and cheaper

If there is one thing I have learnt in 8 years of trading stocks and domains then it is this: Markets can stay in bubble territory or a recession far longer than you expect them to. This makes longterm holding so frustrating, but if you dont invest everything at point A you will have enough to reinvest at point B.

What I am saying is, this trend will most likely continue a lot longer than we can imagine right now. But instead of going out and buying for 2k per name, buy cheap and sell high, not the other way around ;) Don't expect a good return buying at market prices.

Also if you are frustrated about missing out, check what other extensions have potential. I think there are still good deals available, just takes research

I have never invested into other .ext and will not start doing it in 2015.

I just think the Chip price is too expensive alredy - a lot hype. You can`t even call them Chips, maybe 3Chip or something like that

I think non Chinese 4 letters .com -s will rise. They just are too low priced.

Yes, they may rise but as I mentioned, from my standpoint China is making the prices now and that means anything that doesn't have value in China may not have as much value, simply because of a lack of interest and a lack of intrinsic value. Demand is key. They have such a huge population, of course something rare that is in demand is going to be expensive. If I am in China and want to start a business I dont need a domain with vowels, I need a name for my target audience. That's whats driving demand (and speculation).

So regular LLLL will only increase based on pure speculation. So non-Chinese LLLL would enter bubble territory because they simply dont have the demand. They dont have the intrinsic value that their Chinese counterparts have.

You'd do much better buying Chinese domains and numeric domains IMO

I would disagree.
Chinese have designated those 20 as premiums.
If you do google translate LLLL with some vowel in the middle, it will spit out some good meanings.
It is there way of limiting the pool initially to form the market. Once the prices are in XXXX range, then all the rest of LLLLs start going up.
The floor for any LLLL.com has already gone up by 50% or more in the last month alone. And the gap will get narrower.

Yes, but don't you think that is pure speculation? Where is the value? Once Chinese domain prices go down, non-Chinese will fall a lot more. That is incredibly dangerous investing into non-Chinese domains because you risk so much more.

CP might not go down anymore except some temporary fluctuations.
The growth will slow down. It might go to 4K quickly then 10-15% a year for few years thereafter. If that scenario does happen, then all LLLLs will have floor of at least 1-2K and growing at the same rate as CPs.

Ok, if you assume that this is in fact not a bubble (which I support), then you are correct, non-Chinese LLLL will also find a lot higher floor price that will hold at least for some years.
