4L with vowel "A" undervalued? "A" itself is a word in Chinese!

I'm not much info 4L flipping and the whole Chinese premium craze (yet, at least). However, as a Chinese born/raised in China that speaks mandarin fluently, I'm definitely curious about it.

So I was looking at recent sales of 4L etc, obviously everyone familiar with Chinese premium 4Ls knows that words with "V" and vowels worth way less (excluding western pronounceable).

Today I just remembered, Chinese has characters that's simply "a", and more characters that start with "A", making it an initial. So "A" is an initial just like the other Chinese premiums, why the undervalue?

From top of my head, I know at least there are:
a
an
ang

And a simple example:
An Da Gong Si
ADGS
is the acronym for "an da" company.

What are your thoughts on this?

well.. "a" is kind of just like "Ah!", but it's also the first character of many words. like aunt is "a yi" etc...

there are a ton of "an" and a ton of "ang", they are just pinyin, but actual Chinese characters, there are a whole lot of them, and they all mean different things.

Thanks. Just goes to show that the gap between chip and some non-chip is not justified to the current extent.

I checked google translate for one of the LLLLs I own, KUAR and it suggests Chinese meaning for it as "INTO". Would that be accurate?

if kua ru means "into" it is good enough for making "KUAR.com as brandable for "into", i.e. travel, hobbies etc. Just like VALU.com would be great for valuation site.

umm....Chinese brandable doesn't really work like that. Half spelled out and half initial will never mean anything to Chinese, just saying :/

Oh, well, I can always position KUAR as QR for any company providing services related to that technology ))

Why trying to find Chinese meaning for a great name?!
It's an amazing brandable. It doesn't need to be Chinese to sell for a great amount ;)

I still do check for Chinese meaning, as I do for Russian, Turkish, Spanish etc. That is just extra bonus for the name and more potential end users.

If it did mean "into" that would be huge, because "in, into" is very valuable keyword in any language... But, no, I did not buy it because of that ) I checked after I aquired about 60+ similar names in one transaction...

Weeeell I'm going to address the OP even if everyone else has decided this thread is a chance for them to get their chip domains appraised ;)

You might be on to something but really you'd know better than most of us. I'd be surprised if this was missed by the masses of Chinese domainers though.

If you choose to pursue it good luck I hope it works for you.

For sure, if you really own kuaru, it'll probably worth millions :)

Those 4 letters itself doesn't not mean anything at all, non of the Chinese premium 4Ls mean anything by themselves, they are simply initials or acronyms with many different possibilities. With that being said...you need to know Chinese and be super creative to find the actual phrase that it could stand for, or if a Chinese company's acronym happens to be those 4Ls, and they can pay great money, you are in luck!

to you initial point with "a" in the begining. Let's take example of 2 of my names: acnq and anfr as a case study ) What meaning is it possible to make out of that?

No Chinese consulting here!! Bahaha kidding. A bad example, but "AC" in "ACNQ" could be "安彩"(An Cai), which is the name of a Tech company, but their full name is "an cai ke ji", so it's ACKJ instead, can't think of something nice for "NQ", but you see, "A" definitely is an initial.
