can anyone recommend where can i purchase .com,.net,.org for less than $7-9 with privacy protect ?

I love Godaddy to be honest. I also like Dynadot and Namecheap.com. Don't go for the cheap cheap guys, as they probably have the worst support. Ya get what you pay for ya know.

I never needed support from registrars The only problem was when I transferred domains to MyDomain (support answers with templates even not reading your questions). But who knows... So I hold domains with projects at reliable registrars with good support, investment domains at cheap registrars and those that I plan to sell in the nearest future - at GoDaddy And with cheapest registrars so far I had no problems - just transferring in and out

I guess you just don't want to have a horror story, like when a reseller shuts down and then you have trouble accessing your domains and transferring them to reliable registrars.
