Hey folks,

We're trying out some changes in the Legal Issues & Disputes section.

Legal Issues & Disputes is now indexable to search engines. Thus, everyone can see and discuss legal issues in general. You can post threads about UDRP decisions, lawsuits involving domain names, etc.

Notice there's now a Private Legal Issues sub-section. Search engines can't index that sub-section, so you can ask questions about possible civil disputes, issues with registrars, etc.

Some of you probably want your threads moved into the Private Legal. While it means more work, PM us and we'll see what we can do.

As always, share your thoughts -- and keep them civil, of course.

I think it's not a bad idea.
Scammers should get maximum SEO exposure, whereas some discussions deserve to be visible to registered members only.

Thank You!

I already thought that Legal and Disputes were already private, so I think it's a good idea.

Still, if I don't want something revealed (a domain name, for example), I'll post without revealing the name.

But I'm going to check for my threads and see if there is anything I'd like to have moved to a private thread.

UPDATE: Ah, you already anticipated my wish.

Thanks, you are the best!

It was until this latest change.

I forgot: kudos goes to Eric Lyon. :)
