Hello Everyone,

To remove the clutter and keep .CH domainers together, I feel it's better to have one thread rather than a bunch. So NNNN and LLL will be closed. Currently there are:

0 NNN for hand reg

1380 LLL for hand reg

6992 NNNN for hand reg(when I last checked a while ago).

I'm afraid the number of people living in Switzerland is too small to boost this extension. Without hype from Chinese, chance to see a buyout for NNNN are small IMHO.

That's exactly why they can become valuable-note the chinese names on pinyins in .ch you might be surprised ( apart from us of course lol)

Looking forward to seeing the Q1 2016 numbers for .CH, we should be at the 2 million mark. Given that this amount registered is in same realm as the popular .co, .cc, .biz, .xyz extensions (which are between 2 to 2.5 million), I think .CH is not getting the same price value respect as those. Don't get me wrong, there is demand, but it should be a lot more common on the sales threads and in end user auction sales.

Just reg'd XZO.ch Thank you Jack for your help here. We'll see how this all shakes out here. We now have 5 including the single words "real estate" and "wealth" in Chinese in this extension.

you can put it for sale on lots of sites. Might take some time though. For fast sale, try selling it here on NP. Just setup your auction correctly and you won't lose it cheap.

Jack-thanks for this list-it seems that SEDO is the place to sell a .ch As I mentioned before we own the single words "real estate" and "wealth" in Chinese in this extension and as we were doing research we found many chinese names as owners of .ch and also many of the names you can buy in .ch are aged names unlike a "new" extension. If .ch becomes popular in China,as we were told by a Chinese speaking broker it very well might in the coming years, this extension could prove to be a very good investment. Time will tell.

I totally agree with you London555. Also, the fact that the .CH was already well established as an extension prior to the China domain buying frenzy is very important. If you go to the Switch site and see the 21 year history of registrations, there was already 1.8 million .CH registered two years before it all happened.

I haven't no. But there are some sellers on NP who have moved them for mid XX. Keep in mind that this site does sell at wholesale. We can only go based off the Namebio sales which have all been over XXXX since 2011 except for two which is very impressive.

Jack-here's a perfect example. We own the name Caifu.ch ("wealth") in Chinese. This is a 10 year old name already.
