I was wondering what everyone’s opinion was considering the Canadian Dollars opened today at 1.04.00 compared to the American Dollar. I’m thinking this puts me in the mood to buy some American links  what are your thoughts and does this affect you in anyway? This is a all time high for the Canadian Dollar and I’m proud that it seems to be rising so much  Overall I don’t think it’s due to our Canadian economy doing so well I strongly believe this is due to the American Dollar doing so poorly and becoming worthless seeing China and Japan have enough American currency to purchase half of America itself.
Please share your opinion I would like to hear what you think regarding our Canadian Dollar vs the American Dollar 

The American dollar is being artificially devalued for the coming merger of our currencies into the Amero. This is a part of a long, drawn-out process. Check former Mexican President Vincente Fox's comments, but the Amero is coming and this is the first step into the financial merger. It's great for you guys, so I would take advantage of it, but it's going to hurt us all in the end.

Hey great links to you tube! I think you're right with the assumption this will dop worse than better. I guess we'll have to wait and see... I just wish I had the money to drive down to The states and purchase a car. That's where the real saving are...

The Canadian dollar may be doing awesome but lots of retail stores and car dealerships do not care. Cars still cost a fortune compared to the American counterparts that are identical :( It's to a point where you can go down the the states buy a car pay the duty fee's and all the other fee's and it still be 5-6k cheaper. I wish I had done that when I bought my used g35. I bought it from a local dealership and if I had gone down the states and dealt with all the headaches I probably could have saved $10,000 if I played things right.

This is changing but you're right we are getting ripped off. Think about the logic our Canadian Car Dealerships can't just drop price 8,000 - 10,000 they will be bankrupt.
We have to look at it like this! When our Canadian Companies have cleared their Inventory’s inventory product prices will go down. So let’s buy up the inventory, speaking from the consumer stand point, and lower prices eventually. All Canadian companies have inventory they purchased when the Canadian dollar was at .79 – .85 cents American and we can't forget this.
Like I said give the economy time to adjust and you will see the difference. This is if our dollar stays above the ever deadly dropping green back!
