opinion Can I buy a trademark expired domain

Hi,

I have been looking at a domain in adult industry which has a trademark expired 7 months back. The domains has good worth, can i grab it, will there be any trademark problems in future? The domain is priced around 6 hundred dollars now. My gut feeling says i can easily get double the amount if i resell.

Experts opinion is highly appreciated.

If the trademark has expired, and there are no other registered or unregistered trademarks out there you should be in the clear. Just one thought though, adult websites are extremely stingy about buying domain names. I would have thought $600 is quite a lot for an adult name. I would have thought this is not a good proposition, without knowing the domain name.

Thanks for your opinion guys. I also found that there is a trademark for the name but its different for example i am willing to buy "gain" the trademark existed for "Gain" expired 7 months back, but it still has trademark for "g@in" and "musclegain", hope these 2 examples won't be a problem for me. Guys please give me your opinions. $600 to invest is big for me.

Hmm, but the domain is quite popular, single word .net, estibot appraisal value $8000, about 20,700,000 search results with "keyword", $1 cpc for exact match keyword.

I couldn't figure out anything from your message before the last one. It was complete gibberish to me Let me put it this way. I wouldn't pay $600 for an adult .net domain. It doesn't matter a hoot what Estibot says it's worth.

All those 20M searched (which doesn't sound like exact seachers in quotes) are not going to land on the .net. PM me the domain name.
