I watched the debate tonight, and instead of directly answering questions, both Obama and McCain walked around them.

I am burnt out on this campaign, McCain is to old, plus the fact Palin is running with him, Obama lacks experience big time, It showed more tonight than ever before. Biden is the best candidate for President.

It was a disappointing, lame debate at best.

I really wish Condo Rice had put her foot in for the Presidency.

I would feel far more secure with Hilliary Clinton the next four years.

Oh My Goodness

McCain actually said this:

"I'll get him no matter what and I know how to do it. But I'm not going to telegraph my punches, which is what Sen. Obama did."

Telegraph? How out of touch are you, Senator? It's text messaging and email now!

Let me tell you something about reality. We're screwed not matter who gets in office next January. http://new.music.yahoo.com/videos/REM/Its-The-End-Of-The-World--25697333

Thank God for the Heller Second Amendment decision (http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/07-290.ZS.html). The Supreme Court knows what's coming.

I tend to agree...I am pretty tired of them both at this point---I will be very glad to see George W hit the road though.

Rice would have made a much better pick than Palin imho.

I'm still shocked Obama picked Biden over Hillary...

So will everyone else. But who will be replacing him? No one with any real answers, that's for sure.

Obama didn't pick Hillary because his ego wouldn't allow him to share the stage with someone else. What does this say about his motives and judgment?

He had it in the bag. He blew a sure thing.

i think the minute GWB steps out off office they should throw hand cuffs on him

I actually agree with you. I am sick of this campaign because in my heart, i doubt anything will get down w/the next prez.

i don't think power resides w/the presidency anymore...and that there are too many special interests that come ahead of the people's interest..i also think that there's a lot more going on than we are lead to believe.

with that said, my vote goes to the lesser of two evils.

i don't agree with this. i think that hillary would have been a bad choice because conservatives would have come out to vote against her. hillary is not as well liked as you think she is....at least not yet.

Condo Rice would make a good president, Imo

She has everything it takes+excellent relations with other countries.

For what we have in the pool, Biden would be the best president.

Hillary would have gotten us through 4 years.

I feel we are royally screwed, no matter which way it goes.

But at this point, I would have lean towards the Obama-Biden ticket, since we have to choose.

Bidens experience is why he picked him over hilliary. Great choice especially on foreign policy. Economics? Obama has Bill clintons whole team as advisors, another great choice. Wake up republicans LOL

Obama should have chosen Hillary, because of the number of voters she brought to the table, plus I think that, in the second half of the primary run she proved herself to be a tough, legitimate, political candidate.

Think about it. If he won, he would not have had to worry about her for 8 years, she'd been the VP, that's all. Now, however, if he screws up, oh, I don't know, THE ECONOMY over the next four years, there will be speculation about her coming in in 2012, even though he would be the incumbant. If he loses this election, he then has to face her in 2012 at a disadvantage, with her being able to say, "Hey, we tried it your way and you blew it. Now it's my turn."

He's trying to replace the Clinton's political machine within the party with his own, I guess.

Hey, at last something we can agree on, power resides within the democrat controlled congress. There's hope for you yet, Isis.

I wish we could have another Clinton presidency. When he was president, this country was in the best economic shape in a long time.

From what I understand Condy Rice was not interested in running. I allways did and still prefer Hilary over Obama. I don't think Bill and Hillary are truelly behind Obama. They are still feeling the pain of defeat which they feel was unjust because they were betrayed by some sections of the population. :( McCain has no hope of winning. :|

This whole US election campaign is way too long. By the time it ends it seems like so many people are wishing for other candidates. Hope I'm wrong but it looks like America is going to make another wrong choice again! :'( That's three elections in a row!

Ummmmmmmm, NO.

I am just not going to vote at all, what if a majority of Americans did the same thing, did not vote, I wonder who would win, or what the government would do...say if this election was boycotted, Hmmmm, there is a thought.

Not vote?!

The way I see it, men and women have died protecting our right to do just that. I don't vote because I want to. I vote because it is my civic duty as an American.

It's just like jury duty... I hate going. It's a big pain in the butt to spend the day at the courthouse, but it's a duty as a citizen.

I have done my civic duty for over 20 years. I have always had hope and belief with my vote. In this election, there is no hope, and i don't believe.

I can not vote when i have nothing to vote for.

voting Bob Barr is not going help my cause any. It would show i how i feel, perhaps the frustration i carry. but would not do any good.

Biden was chosen for his experience, namely in foreign policy and relations ... and Hillary supporters - at the end of the day - have always liked and respected Joe Biden! :xf.love:
On the other hand, Palin single-handedly sets women back at least 150 years ... the only ones, women, that will support her are of the extremist, right-wing, evangelical variety! :guilty:

I'll take a nap on Nov. 5th, until then keep the good times rolling! :talk:
