Clinton - Obama Ticket Possible?

With speculation mounting regarding how serious Hillary Clinton is about her NY Senate run, Clinton finally conceded recently that the thought of running for president in 2008 has crossed her mind but added:

“I am focused on this [senate] election. I am focused on my work in the Senate. Obviously, people are talking about whether I will or should be running for president, and I’m flattered by that.”

In other news, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has been quietly conferring with associates regarding a possible run for the presidency in 2008.

Donna Brazile, Al Gore’s 2000 campaign manager, says Obama has “gotten the presidential bug bite”.

Doubt it. Obabma could beat Clinton, hands down. However, I won't be supporting either.

I could see them on the same ticket, whoever wins the nomination... smartest things the Dems could do IMO.

I'm not sure who I'd support at this point.. still too early and we have no idea yet who's running. I'm Republican by the way, tho leaning toward voting for whomever is best qualified.

Although Obama seems to be a fan-favorite, I don't know if he's had enough experience yet to be a viable candidate in 2008, or even 2012.

You certainly cannot rule him out for 2012. He certainly doesn't seem qualified for a 2008 run though.
The only thing keeping out of a 2012 race will be the fact that there will be a sitting Democrat president in 2012 and you never replace an encumbant.
