3 days a go this domain name (vuonyeu.com) is still $850.oo after i made an offer with all my money ($500.oo). Now they booted it to $64.000.oo.

They're nut. I offered that much because i really like to have that domain. but over 500.oo... then "No WAY".

BuyDomains are inflating the prices of their domains in hope of one day becoming dot com billionaires.. on paper

they always do that, if you make an offer below their asking price they are just gonna keep raising the price

Hah, that's funny.

Actually, I'm in the forum business. They dropped their forum domain name prices since the last 2 months. Atleast the starting bid. Mostly by $100 - $200.

I offered $1,800 for eBiography.com last year when it was listed as $2,100.

Then they raised it to $2,400.

Ironically they are selling it for $1,800 now, but I'm not interested.

They are stupid.

Yeah, they dropped it to $1800 since now they think you'll check back one day and pay them whatever you offered them before. But like you said, too late is too late.

I just searched for "chat" for a possible project that I would like to start off, and the first on was this domain "MaxiChat.com"... and their price for it is a REDICULOUS $160,000.00. They obviously don't understand domain sales trends.

I wouldn't pay $6 for MaxiChat lol.

Try doing a non-categorical domain name search at BuyDomains.com sometime and sort the results by price. You will see their most expensive domains listed on the site. Would like to hear your reactions.

Yeah, no doubt they try to get the most for their domains. That is a strange of them moving a price from $850 to $64,000. :/ Is there any more to the story? Did you have a dialogue of any kind with them?

I've requested quotes on many names from them. Often the prices are higher than I'm willing to consider, but once in a while there's a deal to be found. I've bought two names from them in the past year and overall have had good experiences with buying from BuyDomains.
