I'm not going to waste your time or my time with this, but I want to give you all a heads up. Based on our experience with BuyDomains.com over the past two weeks, I suggest you stay away from that company for the following reasons:

* They sell domains that aren't under their control.
* We've emailed them 5 times and haven't received a single reply.
* We tried to call them but that was a no go.
* Customer support doesn't reply to our e-mails, but the same people send out spam emails with special offers to us.

If our client wouldn't have been so understanding about the incompetence of BuyDomains.com, we would probably have taken BuyDomains to court for breaking contracts/legal agreements related to a specific domain.

Oh, there is no need for BuyDomains.com reps to save their reputation in this thread. It's too late for that. The damage is done, now it's time to feel the aftershock.

I have to agree with you. And if i were you i woudn't waste my time waiting for there reply.

After dozens of mails and failed attempts of reaching them, they finally reply back asking for absurd amounts for the domain.
Even after all this if you have any patience left, you can go about trying to negotiate with a third party at that pace.

As everybody knows, BuyDomains.com is a big company so that I don't understand why they did that...

Couldn't agree more!

From my perspective as a seller, it's just as bad. They (Afternic/BuyDomains) have never responded to a single one of my voicemails or emails no matter whom I've tried to contact or what the question/issue was.

Despite a fair number of views and the occasional indication of a "sales lead" with them, I've yet to get any serious offers -- though some of the same domains have received solid offers through Sedo. The only reason my domains are still listed with them is I'm too lazy to remove them.
