The actual car from the Transformers movie is being sold on eBay. It's up to over $30,000 with almost 6 days left. I wonder how much it'll go for? I'm guessing $100,000+. Whatever the end price is, I'm sure it'll be a record for a beat up '77 Camaro. BTW, it comes with the Autobot logo on the steering wheel. That's just freakin' cool.

I thought it was the brand new Camaro that was in the movie, not a '77.

That is quite a bit of money for the rusted out car. I guess it could be quite cool to have in a museum or something, but other than that it might just go to waste. Even the biggest transformer fan would have to clear quite a bit of room to store it and show it off. If I payed that much for it I wouldn't drive it anywhere.

The girl or the guy (I forget) said the car was ugly or something, so the car put them out, it drove by the new one and ate it or something (and that made it transform into the new one).

The new one kicks azz... I agree with the Hot Brunette, the old one is/was ugly.

Man you need some style, that old one is so much better, it's so much more....sleek, I'd prefer the old over the new any day!

If it was the old one but like new sure, that car is a rust bucket and if its the actual car from the movie its been beaten to heck... it would prob. cost like XXk to get it back into shape.

I have nothing against classics, I used to own a 79 403ci Trans Am... I miss that car :(

That is true. The engine on it was completely fake. Nice catch.

I'm thinking the small rusted areas and paint damage on the car were put there by the special effects guys. There doesn't appear to be any major dents. I'm thinking it's a pretty solid car.

I don't remember the car being used in the film in any way that would damage it heavily. This doesn't look like a rust bucket to me. It looks like a simulated rust bucket. :p
