Best run I've ever had on BB. Kudos to them.

Currently any names that have an approved description go to the buy now page. I will talk to my team about having other domains in the "Pending" status (before a description) go to the buy now page as well.

Thanks Michael. The page previously used to say "blabla.com is a name coming soon to Brandbucket".

Just got 8 of my names published today. I'm pretty happy with most of the logos and 3 of them are the first on the featured section so I guess that's nice too!

Could you please provide some details on "most successful"? What were the criteria for measuring this? Did showing the other names somehow reinforce the certitude to purchase the name? Or Did % of those buy another name increasing BB's bottom line?

For these type of high dollar purchases it is vital that the customer trust the marketplace, especially when it comes to something like a domain which is difficult for many customers to wrap their heads around. Taking them to the marketplace where they can see who we are and what we do ultimately makes them feel more comfortable making the purchase. The most successful outcome for us is someone seeing the landing and purchasing that name.

But at the end of the day, in business everyone must do what they feel is in their best interest. So I can understand it, but I also want to offer my feedback as a seller and what thoughts might come to mind before making a serious investment with a business..

We very much appreciate your feedback, and will take it into consideration if/when we start testing modifications to our current landers.

Good luck with them Gal.

If we don't like the suggested price - are there any other options, @michaeljkrell? Maybe someone else can take a look ? Cause I surely refuse to list some of my domains for the BB suggested price.

Good luck with that. I've been trying to remove some of my approved names from the queue for several weeks now. They keep sending me automated reminders to verify the domains and I keep responding with the removal request. Gonna stop now, i don't have time for this.

Sounds like you're replying to an un-monitored email address. Send something over to their support and they'll always help in a speedy and efficient manner.

What are the rest of you doing about names that have been approved but are in the queue for descriptions that are going to 404 pages right now? In the last week I've stopped updating the DNS on newly approved names but I still have around 30+ going to a 404 page.

As it is taking 3 or 4 weeks between the inital approval and going live on site, I'm tempted to validate them then immediately redirect them to my own landing page and transfer them back to BB when they go live on the site.

What are the rest of you doing?

Thanks in advance.

I have never even looked at what they do while pending. Just figured they were out of service and would be up when they got to them. So I guess it's not a problem for me.

Has anyone sold a name while it was pending logo/description? I've sold a name within days of it going live, but never before that point. I'm sure Michael can tell us.

I've sold names that are in the queue for approval. Once approved I just asked for them to be deleted.

One was a name dropped in error and the original owner purchased it from me. The others I'm guessing are from other people watching the dropping domains.

I've never sold a domain that has been approved by brandbucket but is still waiting in description/logo queue.

I've solved my problem anyway. By removing the domains in the description/logo queue. When they fix this I'll relist them.

I've just checked my records. I've actually had 5 four-figure sales of domains submitted to BB after submission but before approval in the last 8 months. Ironically, only 3 of those were later 'approved' by BB.

I suppose I'm glad then that the approval process takes so long! :)

Site Glitch:

1) The arrow > under feature names redirects to www.brandbucket.com/staff-pick-business-names

2) The arrow > under premium names redirects to www.brandbucket.com/premium-business-names

3) The arrow > under recently added names redirects to www. brandbucket.com/names

In which the domains are sorted by default to staff picks, instead of recently added domains.

Is this intentional?

If it is, I think it's a little misleading. Every other arrow goes to where it says it'll go. Link 3 by default promotes domains from link 1 and 2.

Shouldn't the arrow > under recently added domains by default redirect to:

sasaaaa.PNG

Thank you @michaeljkrell in advance for looking into this.

I see more domains now on BB that were rejected when I submitted them and seemingly have been approved later when submitted by their new owner after I sold them here on NP.

I think BB sellers getting domains rejected should resubmit again and again and again to prevent that situation and see others profit from it.

Brandbucket Sold Domain Data Released...

New Brandbucket Domain Sales Data.

Hi, my name is James and today I'll be sharing with you some great stuff.
Well to keep things short and sweet I basically promised a friend to share his great work with my fellow domainers if and only if I was able to profit from the BB sales data list. So it all started when he decided to invest in brandable domain names so at that time he turned to branbucket to submit his domain names but unfortunately hundreds got rejected. He was a novice at that time and thought any names could sell on the fly.

So after reading many popular blogs about selling brandable domain names he discovered that analyzing sales data especially ones from brandbucket was really helping. But after a Google search he couldn't find much up to date list that he could use. So him being a programmer came up with great method to acquire does data that brandbucket don't publish.

So far I have benefited from the list and obviously himself. If you wish to download an up to date brandbucket sales data thendnbolt.com is the place to go.
Thanks for your time and get back to me if you found this useful.

Happy domaining!

I love this comment at the top of his website
So stay tuned and we will surprise you because nothing can completely be hidden on the web.

You're right Jack, it would be oh so dum to think everything can be completely hidden ;)
