Just sold my first name with BrandBucket... only had 7 listed, so I'm pretty happy. The name was listed for 10 months. Anyone know how long their payment cycles are? Wondering how long it takes to get paid.

Wow, congrats @Sperry8... I have only 2 names listed there & still waiting :P

Hi Guys,

I have submitted about 10 domains almost 5 weeks ago and still got no reply. I was wondering whether the submission period is always that long or am I just in spam folder :)

How many substitutions do you have?

Thanks for sharing good stories and sales. Makes me hopeful.

Good luck with your sales

My initial domains took about 6 weeks to hear back on.

Has anyone submitted their domains to BB post Jan 26th and have had them accepted/rejected?

My Jan 26th submissions were approved Feb 25th. But my Jan 28th submissions have still not been looked at. That means in 10 days (7 business days) they have not approved two days worth of submissions.

Just curious, as I have a ton of domains pending approval, submitted over the last month.

Sometimes they will go through 2-3 days worth of submissions at a time, is brutal in my opinion the wait times. I've had names that I've sold privately in the time between submission and approval.

My 1 Domain (GrossTotal.com) got accepted by BrandBucket, but i am unable to pay for it because my Debit Card is of Pakistan and this country is not supported by BranBucket. So what shall i do next now?
Any other pay to pay listing Fee?

Any other pay to pay listing Fee?

Vote 100 times (look for the vote button in the Domains section that you see after you login as a seller) and pay your listing fee with these credits.

Thanks I was bit worried.
Five weeks is pretty common. I still have five domains waiting that I submitted from 31st January through to 5th February.

I guess it's mainly due to the enormous volume of submissions they get. Must take a lot of time and many people to get through them all and pick out the good ones.

Vote 100 times (look for the vote button in the Domains section that you see after you login as a seller) and pay your listing fee with these credits.

Yeah it's way better than paying $10, and doing 100 votes takes less time than you think.

Does anybody have idea how many sales are done through brandbucket in month, year? I am just wondering what are the odds of getting name sold ... more less. If I remember correctly there were more names for sale few weeks back that they are now.

Thanks

I've just under 200 names listed, and work on the assumption that I'll sell at least 5% of those based on sales to date. YMMV but as you increase the number of names listed I think it will likely approach that sort of %. Of course there will be outliers, with owners of amazing names potentially getting much higher sales rates, and owners of small listing portfolios getting no sales whatsoever. Hope that helps.

Is anyone signed up as a BB affiliate (cj.com), and if so anyone have experience of earnings through the program?

They are just very choosy and takes about 3-6 months time to sell it....Although they sell it at decent price!

Thanks for your experience. I was hoping for more, but it makes sense. 5 % still does great ROI of you regfee those. Do you think that sale rate is bigger now when they significantly increased names on the page?

Almost impossible to get quality brandables at regfee. You can certainly get some pure brandables, but niche brandables generally only available through drops/auctions.

No idea TBH. I'd imagine it really depends on your names. I do suspect there's compression of average sales price due to most new names in the $1-2.5k range from what I can see. That seems to be the sweet spot for value.

I have sold 14 names on BB, 4 on BR, 1 on NR. All of them are handreg at about $9 each.
