What is average time for logo design at BB?

I have an accepted domain which is pending logo design for almost a month allready, is this normal in here?

Do you know the answer to this, if you submit your domain with your own logo designs then does the domain have to await a new logo from them? Or would they take your own?

They wont take your logo just like that.

Youll have to sign as a logo designer, sent portfolio, get accepted etc, and then create a logo for your domain.

Brand Bucket is doing a volume game now. When BB had only 1500 names you had as good a shot as any to sell some names but that shot is now gone. The more names you list the more sales you can expect. Michael has 847 names listed and is averaging about 2 sales per week. You do the math, how many can you really expect to sell with only 35 listed. Your 35 names are just getting buried in the mass of low quality names they are accepting now.

If you don't plan on listing at least a few hundred names there then get out now while you are still ahead. High volume is the only way you can win at Brand Bucket with 7500 names now listed.

@Mike - Does Brandbucket offer the kind of space allocated to you to every large domain portfolio holder ? I think in your case your larger portfolio certainly helps in catching eyeballs.
It would be interesting to have a dedicated space on BB which could be mutually beneficial.

Since about 12 months ago when I started with BB i have 81 names out of which 5 sold. Most of the 81 names have been there less than 6 months. Perhaps more might sell from them. (Have some other listings coming)

Can you share the names that sold? I have 7 pending for just about 2 weeks, but i hear it takes 3 to get accepted or rejected, so I'm patient. It would be nice to hear what names are selling on BB though.

One of my domains submitted on oct 20, accepted nov 8 is still awaiting logo, over a month since submitted and still is not live.
Another of my domains got accepted and went live but I could not find it browsing around BB and it didn't show in the new domains newsletter. I can find it if I do a search for it but if it is so hard to find for me it is going to be hard for the potential customer as well.
I think that if BB has an exclusivity clause they should be super quick to get domains live.Every day that a domain is not live is a day the domain is not offered anywhere else and the domain owner is the only one that loses (time and renew money).

Few days and i didnt noticed any new domain, usualy there were few being added everyday...

Yes. Anybody knows why? I submitted my domains about 3 weeks ago and no response. Usually, they accept/reject domains in just 2 weeks.

8 weeks, 4 days, since i summited a batch of test domains.

Here is the break down:
2 weeks: approval time
1week: description time
3 weeks: logo time
2 weeks 4 days: waiting..'logo queried for publishing'

To make the wait time more fun: I have a bet with my partner, I bet BB would take 10 weeks or less until 1st logo is live on site. My partners bet was that BB would take more than 3 months.....1/4 of a year before logo was live.

Time will tell.

They may have been really busy with WildHacks.org (NORTHWESTERN'S LARGEST INTERCOLLEGIATE HACKATHON). It looks like they were premium sponsors for the event.Here is a page that they created on BB: https://www.brandbucket.com/event/wildhacks
I think only good results will come out from BB's participation in such events.

I have 20 names pending review and the last accepted one was on 27/10. A name that was accepted on 14/10 and paid shortly after, is still pending logo design.

Not sarcastic at all. In the U.S. many people and companies take off the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving (which is tomorrow) is the biggest travel day out of the whole year. Many will take off Monday or Tuesday to beat the crazy rush of travelers.

I would bet that there will be no more additions to Brand Bucket's inventory until Monday Dec. 1.

I agree they take a long time. I am far from a supporter of Brand Bucket and have removed all my domains from their site. I am not defending them but those that get names accepted at Brand Bucket do have to understand that they accept more names by a large margin then any other brandable sales site.

If they accept 1,000 names per month imagine how long it takes to make all those names go live compared to Namerifc or Brand Root accepting maybe 100 names within the same time frame.

Again I do not support anything they do but I am just trying to put some logic behind everyones frustration.
