I just had 4 more names (out of 10) approved, but I haven't placed them on their site yet; I need to make sure they're off all other sales sites (done by previous owners).

The suggested prices are lower than many of the prices, but I'm okay with that. Also, FYI, it took a good two weeks for BB to get back to me. They must be getting a lot of submissions...I'm NOT being a numpty whiner--I totally understand. Kudos to BB for being so sought after.

:)

One of my approved names is a "Z": Zaput.

I'm wondering if I should hold that one back and place it on my "Z" site; I have a great idea for a logo involving dead bugs (an exterminating company, hee, hee). I submitted it to BB before I decided to set up my "Z" site, which doesn't have a lot of traffic yet, although it's out of Google's sandbox and already has 59 entries on The Big GooG's engine.

I'm learning fast how to create logos; they are kind of quirky, though, and I need to find some more fonts and backgrounds.

Should I hold back "Zaput"? I certainly have enough other "Z" names to keep me busy making logos and writing blurbs for a while.

If you ask me, the whole idea of making a brandable domains site only for "Z" domains is weird.
The market for brandable domains is already limited enough (to specific type of potential buyers).
So people should try to reach all of them with their names to increase their chance of a sale. Thats also why sites like BB mostly look for multipurpose names which are suitable for a wide audience. What you are doing is the exact opposite. Its like opening a fruit and vegetable shop and then only sell bananas. You might find 1 or 2 banana lovers who will love your shop, but it won't pay the rent.

@equity78

I don't think it is a good idea to post this list on the forum. I mean end users should not be attracted to this thread after they make a purchase of some name from this list. It's just :imho:

Agree with what they released it publicly, these were not purchased they are newly listed, added to the site. End user would not want to see their purchase price because of NDA.

I realize this is quirky and that I need to expand my market. This is more like a test to see what kind of time it takes and if I enjoy doing this. Also, I have a lot of "Z" domains--don't know why I'm so attracted to "Z," but, apparently, I'm not alone.

:xf.love::D

I plan to develop a brandable site for all my brandables. I have a bunch of names in mind for my brandable site--just haven't decided yet.

So far, I'm mulling Brandiest, Brandizo, and Brandzio (Also have Brandsio).

Where in Namerific do you see the views of a domain?

This feature is dissabled now because they had problems with bots, etc. and the numbers weren't accurate anymore.

I have no faith in them. I understand that they have the full right to accept or decline submissions, but I've seen a lot of really fugly, terrible ones listed there while they've rejected a few 5-letter gems I own. They turned down my PEEBA.COM in favor of some really screwed up things like pictaz.com. I'm not a bitter guy and I don't think my domains are great. But I've offered them domains that'd make many jaws drop. And they refused them in favor of things most ppl can't remember, let alone type. I don't take them seriously.

They have there own way of selecting names and its there right and their own personal opinion - so we can't really judge. I have had some that were rejected by them and then sold them a few months later for $2k - $3k - so you never really know. I have also had a small few excepted and sold there so I can't complain. I just had an excellent name ending in "az" that you mentioned rejected that I though was better, but that's ok too, lol

FYI - I own e U g l y .com and K u g l y .com (kind of ugly) :lol:

plain.

Yeah, we can't complain--they DO make money, after all. I just fail to see logic in their selections. They had, I think it was FRAQ.com -- easily a good name. But many of their others are just... head-scratchers :p
